Swayambhunath is the just a few minutes’ drive will take to the nearest hillock of Swayambhunath in the Kathmandu valley, also known as monkey temple.  To see the panoramic view of the Kathmandu this is the ideal place to do so. Swayambhunath is the one of the holiest Buddhist Stupas in Nepal.

Kathmandu Durbar Sq is the city of the kings were once crowned and legitimized, and from where they ruled. As such, the square remains the traditional heart of the old town and Kathmandu’s most spectacular legacy of traditional architecture. And you can also have a glimpse of Kumari,’Living Goddess”.

Continue walking on a descending trail towards Khaytad. On the way can spot exotic wild animals and birds. The trail passes through Murma where one encounters with the local customs and lifestyles of the people. On the way pass through villages and reach Serkot. Camping

The trail for the day passes through Raakot, Upper Kharka, Lower Kharka to Majchaur- a bustling market area. Suspesion bridges and waterfalls adds beauty to this trail. At Rega village, witness the first view of Karnali river. The Khaytad Khola meets Karali River in this village. An hour walk along the Karnali River reach the last campsite in Mugu district- Jugala.

Start the trail by crossing Karnali river on a suspension bridge towards Bajura district. Chepi a small village on the banks of Karnali river lies an hour from Jugala. The trail passes through Kalikot district, Badhi Bagar, Badhu Matela and Partola. An hour from Partola reach Kolti.

The trail starts from an ascending path through through Kumarkot (1466m), Ser Katiya, Samal and Ananda Nagar. Reach Panduse commercial centers in Bajura which is predominantly inhabitated by Brahmins Chhertris and Sherpas. The trail to Chadi Pani ,Angau Pani (2302m) and Paurekhe Khad (2544m) is narrow and slippery.After an hour walk reach Parekh Lekh which offers picturesque view of the surrounding hills.

The trail ascends uphill till Pugi Dami. During the trail spot the different wildlife and bird species. Cross rivulets on log bridges. Descend downhill to Damakane . Trek along the Budhi Nandi River to Martadi the main market area for four districts- Bajura, Bajhang,Doti and Accham.

Start the trek towards Goatwall Bata from where follow the Bauli River to reach Saleghat. The trail is pleasing as it offers spectacular views of the waterfalls.  Reach Jadanga a small beautiful valley surrounded with hills. Cross the suspension bridge and reach Tiphad Bazar. An hour from here reach Amakhot which is seated on top of a small hill offering beautiful view of Budhi Ganga River. Passing though beautiful villages reach Dhurlasen.

The trail passes through dense forest.  An hour from Dhurlasen reach Khudi Village then Surkha Bazaar also kown as Aatichaur. Pass through beautiful villages on the way. Reach Tham through Rampur which lies on the border of Bajhang and Bajura district. The trek now leaves Bajhang and starts towards Bajura district. Passing through dense forest reach Guliya chaur. After an hour walk reach Laske Chaur which lies inside Khaptad National Park.

The trail passes through the national park offering spectacular view of exotic wildlife and bird species. Passing through dense forest reach Bhalaue Patan- a big grassland surrounded by pine forests. Trekking through grasslands reach the headquarter of the Khaptad National Park.

Known for its eye pleasing meadows or Patan (Nepali name), 22 Patans are to be found within the Khaptad National Park. The peaceful scenic landscape of Khaptad is well known for its important pilgrimage site and natural beauty. Visit the ashram of Khaptad Baba-a popular destination. Visit the temples of Shiva and Ganesh, and Nagdhunga and Kedardhunga in Tribeni. The palce rewards with the magnificient  views of Api and Saipal Himalayan ranges. Rich in bio-diversity spot the exotic flora and fauna offered. Be smitten by this magical place.

The trail for the day passes through Beechpani –Jhigrana 7 Hrs trek , from Jhigrana we will take jeep to Baglekh,Silghadi and Kalagad.
