Swayambhunath is the just a few minutes’ drive will take to the nearest hillock of Swayambhunath in the Kathmandu valley, also known as monkey temple.  To see the panoramic view of the Kathmandu this is the ideal place to do so. Swayambhunath is the one of the holiest Buddhist Stupas in Nepal.

Kathmandu Durbar Sq is the city of the kings were once crowned and legitimized, and from where they ruled. As such, the square remains the traditional heart of the old town and
Kathmandu’s most spectacular legacy of traditional architecture. And you can also have a glimpse of Kumari,’Living Goddess”.

Bhaktapur is another ancient cultural city. Bhaktapur boasts the best-preserved courtyards and old city Centres in Nepal. The city is famous for its rich culture, temples and wooden, metal and stone artwork. It is one of the most preferred destinations for travelers from across the world.

Breakfast at Local lodge and then drive to the nearby airport to take a flight for Lukla, 20 minutes flight to Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla.

On a clear day nice snowcapped Mountain can be seen from the plane.

From Lukla, the trek begins to Everest Highlight. Trek to Phakding, it takes 3-4 hours to walk. The trail is mostly downhill walk to Phakding. During the trek to Phakdin, pass through many mane walls, Monasteries, and Chheplung, Ghat villages.

Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. The town is a tourist hub in the Khumbu Region and is well equipped with modern facilities of ATMs, Internet Café, restaurants and shops.
After Lunch Hike to Everest View Hotel  (3,880m) near the Khumjung setting. The 02 and half hour hike to the Japanese built Everest View Hotel enjoys majestic view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Kangtega, Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Thabose, Cholase. Enjoy the picturesque view with Tea/Coffee.  01 and half hour hike back to Namche Bazaar. Free time for rest or can spend the day exploring the beauty of the town and getting acquainted to the rich Sherpa culture.

The trek ascends uphill towards Chor Camp then onto a level path towards Kyanghuma. The trail offers stupendous view of the majestic Himalayas- Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse sar, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thameserku, Kangtega, Kusum Kangaru, Cholaste, Tabuche peak, Khumbi  La and Kwangde Ri. Steep climb takes to Mong La a village seated beautiful offering astounding views of Ama Dablam. After Mong La descend in a steep trial to a town called Phortse Tenga (3,680m). The trail is relatively narrow and steep drop. On the opposite side of the canyon lies the picturesque village Phorte seated on a flat topped ridge. Ascent along the beautiful rhododendron and juniper forest, waterfall and can also spot pheasants and musk deer towards Dole.

The trail climb up gradually along the rhododendron and juniper forest towards an increasing altitude of Dole (4,100m) towards Machhermo(4,465m). the trail spons up to meadows. Climb up crests to reach Luza. The mighty peaks of Taboche and Cholatse seems to rise to the sky as one climbs higher. Trek down in an open landscape head down a ridge into Machhermo – a pleasant spot offering beautiful view.

The trail continues on a steady climb offering excellent view of Cho Oyu. Descend slightly towards Pangka followed by a walk along the river bank. Steeper climb over the moraines of the glacial system of Cho Oyu, Mgozumba and Gya Chung Kang peaks. Pass the steep climb the trail levels off offering spectacular view of Taboche and Cholaste. The 03 hour trek stops at Gokyo Village- a small villages seated in the Himalayas. Visit the turquoise lake – Gokyo Lake also known as Dudh Pokhari. The lake is considered sacred by both Hinduism and Budhhism and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in this region. The snow clad Himalayas and the beauty of the lake leaves you awestruck.

Early morning the trail starts with a steep climb to the west of the village. Cross stream on stones and start climbing towards Gokyo Ri. Gokyo Ri is slightly lower than Kala Patthar nevertheless offers mind blowing views of the pristine Khumbu mountain range – Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Ch laste, Tabuche peak and Gyuchung Kang. Enjoy the stunning view of Gokyo valley from the top, the gigantic Ngozumpa Glacier. Inhaling in the fresh mountain feel the warmth of the Himalayas all around.

The trail ascends up and down crossing glacier. Can gaze on the several small ice lake along the trail.  The trial descends and reaches the base camp of Cho La Pass- Thanga.

Today’s trail is one of the popular yet challenging, starting before the sun rise. The trail towards Cho La Pass is vertical and steep with rocks glazed by ice making it slippery. Utmost caution is required. Climbing through a narrow valley continuously pass by Phedi. Trek along the side of frozen lake arriving at the top of Cho La Pass located at (5,420m) which is decorated with prayer flags. This sport offers panoramic view of the Himalayas- Kyajo Ri, Tengkangpoche, Numbur, Kangchung. Steep descend passing by crevasses reach Dzongla- a beautiful village offering pristine view of Mt. Cholatse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lobuche and the beauty of the Pheriche village downhill.

The trail passes along the moraine from Dzongla. The trail offers magnificent view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, Everest, Pumori, Lobuche and Kala Patthar.

Trek along the Khumbu Glacier and past the trail for the Italian Pyaramid.  “ Steps to heaven”an unofficial name given by Dalai Lama regarding the trail from Lukla to EBC. Gorak Shep a frozen lakebed covered with sand- is a trekkers paradise. Continue the trail that gently slopes upwards towards Everest Base camp.  Enjoy the magnificent view of the Khumbutse, Nuptse,Lingtren and Pumori.  Way back to Gorak Shep is mostly flat and downhill.

Early morning hike to Mt Kala Patthar ( meaning black rock in Nepali) a small Himalayan Peak. The ascent of Kala Pathhar is very popular with trekkers in the Everest region. Capture the excellent view of the summit of Mount Everest. The panoramic view of the Himalayas from this place makes the trek worthwhile. Ascend down from Kala Patthar to Pherice via Lobuche.

The trail for the day descends downhill following the Dudh Koshi gorge. Passing through the pine forest can spot colorful pheasants and mountain goats at times. The trek stops at Kyang Juma offering direct view of Ama Dablam.

Trek down to Monjo slowing down to few curves. The trail passing through the forest enables to spot the exotic wildlife- mountain goat, snow leopard and the beautiful pheasants inhabiting in the Khumbu region. On the way back pass by Namche Bazaar the tourist hub of this region. After a steep descent cross suspension bridges with prayer flags along the trial exiting the Sagarmatha National Park by crossing the official point and reach Monjo Village.

The trail is mostly flat with a few descends and ascends. The trail passing by open pain, rhododendron and pine forest offers an amazing view of the distant peak Kwang de. Pass by Phakding and continue  the trek back uphill towards Lukla from Kusum Khola. Celebrate the end of an epic journey in the Himalayas at Lukla before flying back to Kathmandu the next day.

The largest stupa in Nepal is the center of Tibetan culture.  Be smitten by the large colorful chorten and the mesmerizing chants of the monks.
